Tennis Hot Shots is primary tennis played on smaller format courts ideal for typical kids aged 5-10. It uses simpler scoring and much faster games than conventional tennis.

Tennis Hot Shots Red is played on ¼ sized courts suiting typical kids aged 5-8.

Tennis Hot Shots Orange is played on ¾ sized courts suiting typical kids aged 7-10.

Tennis Hot Shots are internationally standard forms of tennis designed specifically for kids to learn quicker, learn better and have more fun playing with the ‘my sized’ courts and equipment.

Many clubs offer Tennis Hot Shots coaching and some offer club play sessions. Tennis Canterbury runs weekly league play in both red and orange formats, runs one-off events (participation focused tournaments) and coordinates a summer calendar of club-based events.

Tennis Hot Shots Green is played on full sized courts with softer green ball suiting typical kids aged 9-12. In Canterbury, Tennis Hot Shots Green events are less common but our Junior 10U age group tennis uses the green format for interclub and tournaments.
